The German Council for Public Relations (DRPR) is the body for voluntary self-regulation in the public relations and communications profession. On the basis of industry codes, it develops and updates guidelines for ethical behaviour in the profession and deals with cases in which the rules are violated. The Council publicises grievances and misconduct and issues warnings or reprimands.
